Michael Sokolik Jr.
In 2018 Michael launched a volunteer career helping others make a plan for getting out of debt and establish retirement plans with professionals. Having helped many achieve their dreams of discovering debt freedom, Michael’s dream was fulfilled- moving up to the next tier in helping others with their financial decisions, Michael is now a Financial Advisor. Helping guide others to build retirement, college savings, budgets, and more.
Prior to becoming a Financial Professional, Michael was a successful Co-owner of a remodel company that he joined in 2006, and became an owner in 2013. He took the recession shaken company to new heights. Using no debt, and building a team of professionals that exceeded client expectations with high quality craftsmanship, products, and honesty. He brings these skills into helping build diversified portfolios to meet clients objectives and goals.
Michael served as a director on the board of the Horry Georgetown Home Builders Association 2021-2022 and as the VP of the Association 2022-2023.

Michael is much more than a business professional, he is also an award winning Elvis Tribute Artist. Having been recognized in 2008 by Elvis Presley Enterprise as one of the top 22 Tribute Artists that year in Memphis, TN. He has performed over 1,200 shows since 2007-2020.
Michael has a fun, interactive, & engaging way of building portfolios and plans for his clients.
Michael has successfully completed the FINRA Series 6, & 63 exams, and has passed the Securities Industry Essentials Exam.
Personal and Community: Outside of the office Michael enjoys gardening (fruits & vegetables), kayaking, hiking, playing live music, traveling, coaching baseball, & much more. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Stephanie, and they have three children. Presley (15), Memphis (8) & his twin sister Gracelyn (8). The family studies and knows enough American Sign Language to communicate with Gracelyn who is deaf with bi-lateral cochlear implants. Michael and his wife are active leaders of a local youth group, and Michael’s family is part of the DMM at Christ United Myrtle Beach.

He has successfully passed the FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66 securities exams. He has also successfully completed the life, accident, and health insurance exam for the state of South Carolina.

Outside of the office, Travis enjoys spending time with his family. He is married to Melissa Burton Moore of Radford, Virginia and they have two children. Travis and his family attend Summerville Baptist Church where he has served as a Sunday school teacher, Bible study leader, Deacon, softball coach, and member of various committees. He is a member of the Charleston Southern University Board of Visitors, Gideons International, Greater Summerville/Dorchester Chamber of Commerce, Marshall University Alumni Association, and the Charleston Southern University Alumni Association.
